Process Compliance Lead

The Process Compliance Lead is a key member of the Clinical Trial Payments Compliance group within the Operational Excellence team and a global business partner for operational teams. The Process Compliance Lead is responsible for development and delivery of the compliance program, ensuring adherence to standards across the globe and meeting business needs and strategic goals.

As part of a regular compliance program activities Process Compliance Lead is responsible for analysis of complex business activities, including new offerings,  in order to identify risks and provide recommendations; planning, conducting and documenting process compliance monitoring (spot checks of various transactions to test controls efficiency) to determine if functional areas are operating in accordance with established procedures, as well as governmental and legal requirements. Responsibilities also include quality management activities and facilitation of continuous improvement projects.

Summary of Essential Job Functions
•  Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to screen and communicate risks, assess initiatives, processes and technologies enhancements and new offerings for compliance with policies and controls

•    Participate in audits, coordinate audit activities and deliverables

•    Assist with external information requests and assessment questionnaires

•    Manage and perform compliance monitoring for Clinical Trial Payments
•    Maintain and analyze compliance statistics and monitoring results to determine process improvement opportunities and risk mitigation actions

•    Drive change initiatives / projects implementation

•    Manage quality and provide guidance on Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA)  
•    Collaborates with the Process Owners and Training teams to ensure SOPs, documentation and training programs maintenance or creation

•    Other duties as assigned

Our Ideal Candidate Will Have
•    Requires 3-5 years of prior relevant experience
•    Bachelors in a Legal, Quality, Life Sciences or Business field

•    Experience with Quality Management (QMS), GxP and Data Protection
•    Experience with managing compliance programs (internal controls, compliance monitoring, SOPs writing, training, reinforcement actions, etc.)

•    Experience with processes improvement and project management

•    Experience with managing internal and external audits
•    Experience with Pharmaceutical or Clinical Trials industry highly desired

Skill Requirements
•    Energized by a fast-paced global business environment

•    Proven track record in handling multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, prioritizing workload effectively, including conflicting priorities
•    Business partner with strong business acumen and helicopter view, orientation towards accomplishing strategic organizational goals, yet attentive to details and quality

•    Team player, excellent collaboration and stakeholder management skills with proven ability to work independently and autonomously

•    Ownership competences: focus on meeting deadlines, deliver measurable results

•    Leadership and interpersonal skills for effective driving of change management and compliance program: effective communication and presentation, emotional intelligence, conflict resolution skills, ability to convince stakeholders

•    Data-driven decision-making and analytical skills

•    Quality management and Problem-solving, Operational Excellence methodologies and skills, ability to innovate look at solutions in unconventional ways

•    Project management skills
•    Strong PC skills (Microsoft Office, Excel – mandatory, JIRA, Lucidchart, etc.)
