DBA POSTING:
We are seeking a Microsoft SQL Server DBA/Developer for a diverse role in maintaining high-availability MS SQL Servers, supporting users, job and system monitoring, and developing SQL systems for data movement, analysis, and import/export processing.
Required Skills:
• Knowledge of SQL Server setup, configuration and maintenance
• Knowledge of SQL Server Analysis Services setup, configuration and maintenance
• Knowledge of SQL Server Integration Services setup, configuration and maintenance
• Knowledge of in-depth SQL monitoring and analysis tools (SQL Trace, Execution Plans, and similar)
• Demonstrable high knowledge of Microsoft TSQL
• Database maintenance: Configure, maintain, and optimize database servers and processes
• Ability to Monitor system health and performance, and ensures high levels of availability and sustainability
• Troubleshooting and optimization, Analyzing, solving, and correcting issues in real time as well as reviewing user code for optimization
• Develpment of SQL functions and stored procedures as well as SQL Agent Jobs and scheduling
• Familiarity with industry Besst Practices for Data Security
Essential Functions of the position:
• Designs or modifies data models to solve complex database requirements considering business and application needs. Organizes metadata for use by teams.
• Plans, conducts and coordinates the design of state-of-the-art data model designs and metadata management.
• Provides application-level data modeling for project development teams.
• Assists with creating and maintaining enterprise-wide data standards.
• Participates in enterprise-wide logical data modeling and leads efforts on assigned data subject areas.
• Assists with the implementation of metadata management tools.
• Facilitates formal and informal discussions to support database designs.
• Participates in the implementation and management of the global metadata repository.
• Identifies metadata sources, develops metadata management capabilities, monitors metadata quality, and develops common data definitions.
• Generates Procedures and Functions to facilitate data movement and standardization from user requirements.
• Reviews SQL developer code for processing optimization and standardization.
• Maintains individual database and server health and responds to and remediates processing challenges and issues.
Req
• Minimum 2 years in a Microsoft SQL Server DBA or broad Microsoft SQL Server Developer role
• Database systems knowledge with a minimum of five (5) years IT with two (2) years experience in the data administration area.

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $105,800.00 - $176,300.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time).
