Job Overview
The Patient Enrollment Specialist aids in the identification, outreach, pre-screening, and scheduling of potential clinical research participants. As an extension to the Avacare study teams, this position will embed with study teams to support the identification and scheduling of eligible patients into clinical trials.
Key Responsibilities
Recruits clinical research subjects for multiple studies by answering inbound calls and outbound calls daily
Enters all qualifying and potential patients into company database
Works effectively to schedule appropriate subjects for screening visits
Ability to read and understand protocols and informed consents for clinical trials, and assess subject eligibility criteria
Communicates effectively with patients, management, and other team members
May perform other duties not specifically listed in this job description as assigned by their immediate supervisor
Required Knowledge Skills and Abilities
Proficient in communicating in English both written and verbally (Required)
Exceptional organizational skills, a keen attention to detail and thorough follow through
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, Adobe)
Ability to use software to develop organized information sources and to provide a variety of reports
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and efficiently with precision and ability to adapt to changes in responsibilities and workloads
Must be professional, possess a high degree of urgency and self-motivation, and have a strong work ethic
Knowledge of HIPAA compliance, federal regulations and good clinical practices (GCP)

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $31,100.00 - $58,800.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time).
