IT Software Application Manager/ IT Application Expert (m/w/d)

We are looking for an IT Software Application Manager to join our Payer & Government Solutions division in Dortmund with around 170 employees. For our customers in the healthcare and government sectors, we develop software for the digitization of business processes from architecture to implementation. We rely on standard technologies but also keep an eye on new developments.

With us, you will work in the dynamic environment of an IT company with current technologies and IT systems.

Your tasks:

• Support of our software components in the operational environment of our customers.
• Installation, technical administration, and configuration of our software products.
• Independent analysis of support requests and change requests of varying urgency and complexity.
• Maintenance of software product releases
• Close exchange with service managers, software developers, and project managers.
• Documentation of implemented solutions and processes.

Your profile:

• Initial experience in application support or knowledge of software applications and servers. (e.g., Tomcat, Wildfly)
• Ideally, a completed IT training (application development) or similar qualification.
• Good knowledge of Windows and/or Linux operating systems as well as dealing with databases and servers. (SQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle)
• Sense of responsibility and a structured, service-oriented way of working.
• Fluent and secure German language skills in spoken and written form as well as good English skills.
