As a Senior Product Designer specializing in healthcare analytics, your mission will be to research, design, implement, iterate, measure, and provide leadership, strategy, and support for the Media OS Reporting experience. You’ll play a pivotal role in transforming large amounts of data into actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making for millions of IQVIA customers around the world.
What you will do:
- Lead the experience strategy and design execution for the reporting journey.
- Collaborate closely with product and engineering partners to gather research, identify opportunities, remove obstacles, and deliver exceptional experiences.
- Own the conceptual development and delivery of design artifacts to create user-validated experiences.
- Contribute to defining KPI’s, UX outcomes, and success metrics for measuring design impact and business goals.
- Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
- Focused on outcomes, experience, interaction, and functionality.
- Work independently to perform usability testing to understand mental models, user needs, and patterns of behavior to test assumptions and inform the design.
- Resolve conflicting end-user requirements through user research and usability testing, and effectively communicate the results.
- Work inclusively and collaboratively with product owner to prioritize, design, and backlog design requests.
- Drive and ensure consistency and adherence to the design system standards.
- Continually evaluate the design processes, trends, and industry best practices resulting in products end users love to use and put forward business cases and proposals to support these initiatives.
- Ability to work effectively with others in and across the organization to accomplish team goals.
- Be a champion, not only of great design, but of IQVIA itself.
To do this you will have:
- 8+ years product design experience.
- Bachelor's degree in HCI, design, design-related field, or equivalent work experience
- A strategic and creative mindset with excellent judgement and analytical ability, to ensure that products are shipped with the best user experience within the given technical and business constraints.
- Ability to have an empathetic, human-centric approach to analysis, with working knowledge of usability and accessibility standards.
- Ability to understand and incorporate complex technical and business requirements into research and design.
- Can influence direction and decisions related to scope and requirements.
- Excellent visual design skills.
- Experience in product design, delivering responsive and/or mobile customer-centric SaaS solutions.
- Experience in creating wireframes and prototypes.
- Proficiency with at least one visual design tool and one wireframing tool.
- Up to date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies.
- Excellent interpersonal communication and presentation skills.
- A strong desire and eagerness to be curious, inquisitive, and innovative.
- Fluent in English, writing and speaking.
- Outstanding portfolio that shows a variety of projects, creative processes, and final designs including cross-functionally, thinking strategically across the end-to-end experience, and shipping successful experiences in a fast-paced environment.
Nice to have experience:
- Basic understanding of React.js and Vue.js
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
- Experience iteratively working on a product using the scientific method and a hypothesis-driven approach.
- Experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, life sciences, and/or healthcare industries.
- Passionate and knowledgeable about all aspects of creative/design, brand-building, and the IQVIA brand.

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $105,200.00 - $175,400.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time).
