Patient Supporter

The Global Perspectives team helps scientists improve health outcomes through a better understanding of patients and their treatment preferences and experiences.

The Patient Supporter role is a key position within Global Perspectives and the Patient Recruitment team: we are an innovative and forward-thinking team at the cutting-edge of new patient recruitment and engagement strategies.

What the role looks like

  • Delivery of patient recruitment and engagement strategies.
  • You will have a key role in the implementation and delivery of innovative solutions to enrol and engage patients in non-interventional clinical studies (including but not limited to qualitative interviews, online surveys, adboards, longitudinal studies).
  • You will work very closely with the patient, as well as with the Project Management team, and partner with Patient Organisations and other healthcare stakeholders.
  • You will lead and be responsible for recruitment success, including meeting key performance metrics, delivering within timelines, and customer satisfaction.
  • Patients and their journeys will drive your day-to-day delivery.
  • Utilize various methods for recruitment including our internal patient network, Social Media, Patient Associations to locate and recruit potential participants

Skills

  • Patient recruitment will involve validating to assessing an individual’s suitability for a particular study.
  • You can also become a Subject Matter Expert on different areas such moderation, Patient Organisations, Patient Community, and other industry trends and new offerings.
  • You will also ensure compliance with all regulatory and ethical standards, and by following study protocols.
  • You will regularly get involved in problem solving, process review, improvement activities and innovation implementation.

 What you need to apply

  • Excellent organizational, collaboration and problem-solving skills.
  • Communication and strong interpersonal skills to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, colleagues and other stakeholders.
  • Effective time management skills and ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Comfortable working with social data and technology.
  • Computer literacy and social media skills including proficiency in MS Office. Good understanding of Excel is advantageous.
  • Full written and verbal communication skills including excellent command of English as all your day-to-day task will be in English.
  • Other European languages will be appreciated.
  • Bachelor Degree
  • Strong interest in the pharmaceuticals and healthcare industries, patients and research.
