We engage with a client centric approach focusing on true understanding of our client’s needs, together with an extensive portfolio of services addressing core needs of our pharma clients value chain.  The Nordic Sales Team will ensure business growth and a successful future business model. We aim to bring a multi-disciplinary way of working in engaging with clients, directing the sales process toward solutions to our client’s issues.

Role

We're in search of a Nordic Senior Key Account Manager who can lead, innovate and engage with our specialists. This person will report to the Commercial Director and should bring a deep understanding of the Nordic Pharma industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and nurture excellent client relations with our pharma accounts, becoming a trusted partner and thought leader in their strategic planning.
  • Drive the development and execution of our pioneering IQVIA go-to-market-strategy, based on a client-centric approach.
  • Deepen your understanding of the healthcare industry, providing valuable insights and trends to our clients, and positioning yourself as their trusted advisor.
  • Align the internal IQVIA organization to specific customer needs, ensuring we exceed our customers' strategic needs and expectations.
  • Collaborate with IQVIA colleagues across the organization, engaging them in the account strategy and supporting new business opportunities.
  • Execute solutions effectively against client needs and IQVIA revenue targets, contributing to the thought leadership within the company.
  • Help raise the profile of IQVIA in the healthcare and life sciences landscape, establishing our position as thought leaders.

Education, skills and experience required

  • Self-motivated, problem solving, driven to succeed. Can-do mentality. Team player.
  • Five (5) years relevant sales or account management experience and/or solution sales management experience (preferred)
  • Evidence of profound understanding of Nordic healthcare landscape. Experience with and network in (academic) hospital landscape or experience from the pharma industry
  • Master’s degree or equivalent.
  • Proven track record of managing a balanced pipeline of short-term tactical opportunities to long term strategic engagements.
  • Evidence of a successful record of solution selling across a diverse portfolio of capabilities.
  • Able to develop a network of senior and middle management contacts to build long lasting trusted partnerships.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (1 Nordic language + English) with proven ability to interpret and present complex concepts.
  • Proactive and accountable with the aim to always drive positive client satisfaction.
