Manages a set of assigned clients to achieve financial goals. The geography of responsibility is 10 – 15 Emerging Biopharma (EBP) clients. 

Provides the key client relationship to clients through relationships with executives and leaders in the client organization within the EBP region. Grows revenue by leveraging the full IQVIA offerings and identifying new business opportunities as well as maintaining and growing existing business.

Essential Functions

  • Manage the activities of clients to achieve or exceed the assigned revenue and growth goals within your assigned accounts. 
  • Works to develop new business across all our offerings with a strong Business Development mentality.
  • Navigates our clients’ organizations to develop new relationships and penetrate all functional areas at our clients to develop new relationships and/or opportunities.
  • Look to develop C-suite relationships.
  • Participate in cold calling or outreach programs to generate new opportunities or develop new relationships.
  • Maintains existing business while looking for areas of organic growth.
  • Manage territory from a strategic perspective to define growth areas and develop a plan to execute against through account planning.
  • Work towards a high level of customer satisfaction through account management.
  • Takes proactive role in contract strategy and will lead negotiations on any contracts as needed.
  • Develops strategy for expanding scope of existing contracts and identifying new Business and win backs opportunities.
  • Provides leadership to internal support teams and coordinates the involvement of IQVIA resources (marketing, sales specialist, consulting, and client Service) in actively promoting the full IQVIA portfolio of products and consulting services offerings to anticipate and meet client needs.
  • Guide and oversee internal teams in responding to RFPs by providing insight and recommendations to respond with a high-quality RFP response.
  • Provide weekly forecast insights to provide a view of the health of your territory and estimated revenue by quarter.
  • Adjust plan accordingly to consider new IQVIA products/Service offering as well as significant changes to Business conditions. 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • 8+ years relevant sales/service or marketing experience Req
  • Significant experience in business development
  • Strategic mindset
  • Objection handling and negotiations skills
  • Understanding of the pharmaceutical industry

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $134,200.00 - $249,200.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
