IQVIA is looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join our Melbourne team and make a significant impact.

About the Role: As a Business Development Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in securing and retaining business through strategic sales activities.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Pursuing New Business: Identify and develop new opportunities, build strong relationships with key decision-makers, and leverage your knowledge of IQVIA’s services for effective cross-selling.

• Competitive Insight: Stay ahead of industry trends and competitors, and tailor strategies to meet customer needs and achieve financial goals.

• Sales Leadership: Lead presentations, manage vendor relationships, and adapt strategies to align with client demands.

• Strategic Planning: Develop and implement sales plans for target accounts, and keep detailed records of all activities in our CRM system.

This role offers a mix of internal and external engagement, including travel and participation in exhibitions. You’ll have the chance to interact with global stakeholders, enhance your professional network, and gain international exposure.

What We’re Looking For:

• Industry Expertise: Extensive experience in clinical trials and a deep understanding of clinical operations and drug development.

• Sales Experience: Proven track record in solution-based sales, with 7+ years in the CRO/Pharmaceutical industry.

• Analytical Skills: Strong ability to assess and interpret business data, particularly in relation to clinical trials and industry trends.
