IQVIA’s HDRP (Health Data Research Platform) team is seeking a talented and motivated Product Manager, who will be responsible for driving the development and lifecycle management of our products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, sales, and customer support, to ensure that our products meet market demands, align with our business objectives, and deliver exceptional value to our customers. A key focus of this role will be managing the product backlog and ensuring backlog readiness to maintain a steady and efficient development process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Product Strategy and Vision:
  • Develop and communicate a clear product vision and strategy that aligns with the company's overall goals and market needs.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and threats.
  • Define product roadmaps and prioritize features based on customer needs, market trends, and business objectives.
• Backlog Management:
  • Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring it is well-organized, up-to-date, and reflects the priorities of the product strategy.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and prioritize requirements, translating them into well-defined user stories and tasks.
  • Ensure that the backlog is consistently refined and that the highest priority items are always ready for development.
• Backlog Readiness:
  • Ensure that backlog items are well-defined, with clear acceptance criteria, and are ready for the development team to work on.
  • Facilitate regular backlog grooming sessions with the development team to maintain a steady flow of ready-to-work items.
  • Work closely with the engineering team to ensure they have all the necessary information and resources to execute the backlog efficiently.
• Product Development:
  • Work with engineering and design teams to guide the development process, ensuring that product features are delivered on time and meet quality standards.
  • Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to support the development team and ensure alignment with product goals.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for the development team, providing clarity on priorities and resolving any issues that arise during the development process.
• Product Launch and Go-to-Market:
  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, and customer support teams to develop go-to-market strategies and launch plans.
  • Ensure that all product documentation, training materials, and marketing collateral are up-to-date and aligned with the product’s features and benefits.
  • Monitor product performance post-launch and gather feedback to inform future product improvements.
• Stakeholder Communication:
  • Regularly update stakeholders on product progress, roadmaps, and key decisions.
  • Manage expectations by providing clear and transparent communication on timelines, challenges, and deliverables.
• Customer Focus:
  • Engage with customers and end-users to understand their needs and pain points.
  • Gather and incorporate customer feedback into the product development process to ensure that the product delivers real value.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
• 3+ years of experience in product management, preferably in [Healthcare].
• Strong understanding of agile methodologies and experience working in an agile environment.
• Proven experience in backlog management and ensuring backlog readiness.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
• Experience with product management tools such as Jira, Trello, or similar platforms.
