IQVIA™ Medical Communications is offering the opportunity for Associate Project Finance Lead in our Global Integrated Medical Communications team to assist in the financial analysis and financial management for our large medical education team delivering immersive and engaging training tools and experiences across the life sciences industry.

About the Associate Project Finance Lead

We are in search for an Associate Project Finance Lead with demonstrable experience in understanding business finance.  Candidates must have the ability to liaise with and coordinate a number of key stakeholders, including account managers, internal finance teams and contract analysts.  Candidates should be able to analyze and provide accurate and relevant data and be diligent in following up to resolve queries.

Candidates should be highly organized, excellent communicators and proficient in business finance.

Main Responsibilities:

•    Own project finance from start to completion
•    Create and adjust budgets and financial trackers for contracts and work orders
•    Prepare for and attend monthly finance status meetings
•    Proactively support account managers and delivery project managers in changes of scope impacting budgets
•    Accountable and responsible for monthly forecasting of revenue per project
•    Anticipate risks to mitigate where possible and flag for future implications
•    Collaborate with internal teams across various functions in order to accomplish task completion within timelines
•    Apply in-depth knowledge of customer preferences/expectations, contractual agreements,
•    Ensure account managers have timely and accurate data on project finance including scope changes and change order schedules to support better decision-making
•    Support with pricing activities/initiatives
•    Update internal trackers
•    Support with audits as and when required

Qualifications:

•    Results-oriented approach
•    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
•    Demonstrable experience of forecasting and facilitating revenue recognition in accounting systems
•    Proactive and operates with a sense of urgency; comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and adaptable to changing priorities
•    Ability to handle conflicting priorities whilst maintaining attention to detail and accuracy in work
•    Confidence and clarity in communication
•    Ability to understand complex organizational structure - who to go to for information and how to get it efficiently
•    Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers and key stakeholders
•    Ability to work across cultures and geographies
•    Collaborative team worker who creates a climate of cooperation and inclusion across all functions
•    Experience working in a highly matrixed organization and participating in teams
•    Adaptable to organizational change and sets example by championing change
•    Strong finance skills
•    Strong Excel skills
•    Skills in SmartSheet would be beneficial
