As a Principal in Real World Analytics in Germany, you will be responsible for business development and project delivery for our key pharmaceutical industry clients. You will lead teams of highly skilled consultants and data analysts, driving innovation and thought leadership.Our team focuses on harnessing the power of Real World Data, particularly secondary Real World Data. This data forms the foundation for making patient-centered business decisions across a product’s lifecycle. We enable our clients to answer key business questions, drive better decision-making, and develop effective strategies and tactics.

Your responsibilities:
Your primary focus is to build and expand close client relationships at dedicated affiliate and/or HQ accounts in Germany, including both existing and new clients.
As the main point of contact, you will advise your clients on all questions related to day-to-day patient care based on their needs. You will work closely with an account team to provide comprehensive advice and support.
You will identify and qualify opportunities at these accounts, developing holistic, client-oriented, end-to-end solutions. This includes leveraging other IQVIA data and collaborating with areas such as Consulting and Commercial Technology to develop comprehensive project approaches.
Throughout multiple client engagements, you will oversee project execution and delivery in a Principal-in-Charge (PIC) role, with full responsibility for quality, time, and budget, ensuring delivery excellence.
You will be responsible for the entire sales process and account planning for your client base, including budget responsibility, opportunity management, and internal planning reports and forecasts.
You will drive innovation across our Real World Analytics portfolio and beyond, assuming a leadership role in developing and implementing our business unit strategy, as well as enhancing the team’s performance and growth.
You will be part of an international Real World community, supporting strategy, offering development, and connected intelligence.
Your profile:
A minimum of a Master’s degree or equivalent in business administration, health economics, natural sciences, medicine, or a related discipline, or knowledge acquired through equivalent experience.
Extensive expertise in the pharmaceutical/healthcare sector; proven service and solution orientation is a must. Experience in a consulting company is a plus.
Extensive expertise of real-world data, combined with strong analytical skills and an excellent understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and its core processes.
Proven hands-on expertise in sell-and-delivery approaches, project design and management, business development, and client support.
A hands-on approach with strong issue-based consulting and conceptual skills, coupled with a drive for innovation and long-term strategic thinking for account development.
Demonstrated ability to build relationships, identify client pain points, develop customized solutions, and work collaboratively across complex networks, both internally and with clients.
Outstanding presentation and communication skills in both German and English, both written and spoken.
