Join the New Medical Science Liaison Team – Focused on Multiple Sclerosis
Are you passionate about advancing scientific understanding and building meaningful relationships in the healthcare community? We are recruiting talented Medical Science Liaisons (MSLs) to join a dynamic new team, dedicated to supporting an oral treatment for Multiple Sclerosis (MS).
About the Role
As a Medical Science Liaison, you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between cutting-edge science and clinical practice. Your expertise will support ongoing education of healthcare professionals in the field of Multiple Sclerosis. This is an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of medical communication, working closely with healthcare professionals, Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), and other stakeholders to ensure the successful integration of this needed therapy into clinical practice.
What You’ll Do
Deploys a medical national operational plan and identifies the key actions/projects to be carried out in line with the global medical strategy and in agreement with global medical teams.
Is recognized as an expert in their designated therapeutic area, both within the company and the wider scientific community.
Cultivate comprehensive knowledge of the scientific and clinical medical environment within the region, including an extensive network of clinical and scientific experts.
Engage in scientific dialogue with experts within the designated area, grounded on clinical data pertaining to the product and associated pathology.
Establish lasting relationships with regional, national, and international opinion leaders, scholarly societies, patient associations, and cooperative groups, thereby establishing themselves as a reliable scientific partner.
Engage Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) in scientific advisory boards.
Participate in congresses and organize symposia in collaboration with global medical teams.
Manage and follow-up on clinical trials and Real-World Data (RWD).
Identify the clinical data requirements necessary for generating useful information to support the medical communication of the drug.
Collect and share relevant insights with the MSL team lead.
Utilize the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to evaluate time spent in the field (both reactive and proactive), assess healthcare professional (HCP) engagement, and track account card fulfilment, insights, scientific activities, and study highlights.
Provide ongoing training and information to Product Specialists, including post-congress updates.
Ensure all activities are conducted in accordance with regulatory requirements, medical procedures, and the company's ethical and compliance standards.
What We’re Looking For
Advanced degree (MD, PharmD, PhD) in life sciences.
3 years of experience as an MSL, preferably in neurology or specifically Multiple Sclerosis.
Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
Strong knowledge of the healthcare environment, particularly in the MS field.
Ability to travel extensively and work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
