We are currently looking for a Financial Analyst to join our Finance department team based in Milan.

The Financial Analyst will process transactions related to the accounting systems and finance controls, providing cost center management and monthly cost analysis, assisting in preparation of cost center forecasts and budgets.

Main Responsibilities:

• Coordinate tasks related to the administration of the financial accounting system.

• Perform analysis of monthly expenses.

• Assist during meetings with cost center managers to discuss forecast and preliminary budgets. Highlight major concerns relating to forecasts or budget to immediate supervisor to seek guidance on how to proceed.

• Maintain general ledger; prepare monthly journal entries for review by others and compile all source documentation related to the financial reporting.

• Maintain detailed understanding of internal customer requirements and develop processes that will meet or exceed these requirements.

• Be familiar with, and ensure compliance with, internal financial accounting procedures and policies.

• Ensure all financial and accounting records are thoroughly maintained and complete in preparation for independent audits.

Qualifications

• Degree

• 2 - 3 years of experience in the role and preferably in an international environment.

• Solid PC skills, including an advanced/expert competency level in Microsoft Outlook, word processing, spreadsheet and database management software and knowledge of SAP.

• Exceptionally strong organizational and time management skills.

• Excellent follow-through and ability to execute reminders.

• Commitment to high standards of excellence regardless of the deadline pressures.

• Flexibility to adjust to constantly changing demands and priorities.

• Team player.

• Ability to proactively identify complex problems and needs and develop solutions/recommendations to solve problems

•  Fluency in English, native Italian.
