Job Overview

The Director of Innovation and Systems Quality will direct, oversee, and coordinate strategic initiatives relating to innovation and system quality within the PSS organization. This role is responsible for driving continuous improvement, fostering a culture of innovation, and ensuring high standards of quality across PSS implementations. In this role, you will focus on leveraging technology, automation, and AI to support quality-related PSS work, providing comprehensive QA and delivery support in the execution of Patient Support programs. This role requires a keen understanding of Pharmaceutical PSS programs such as hub, copay, adherence, and nursing, and the ability to communicate effectively and efficiently with program management leadership teams.

Essential Functions

  • Systems Quality Management: Oversee the Quality Assurance processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Partner with PSS Quality & Compliance to participate in the review of corrective action plans as needed.
  • Innovation Leadership: Develop and implement innovative strategies to enhance product development, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior leadership to define and execute the innovation and quality roadmap. Work across IQVIA centralized AI teams to understand the applicability of available solutions within the company to drive AI efficiencies within PSS
  • Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. Ensure all members of the team are properly trained and performing at full capacity within their assigned roles.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization and implement solutions to improve system quality and efficiency. Ensure quality technical documentation is centrally housed and consistently maintained.

Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to drive innovation and quality initiatives. Act as an escalation point for all PSS quality-related technical operation’s implementation activities.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and abilities:

  • Knowledge of National Counsel for Prescription Drug Programs (NCPDP D.0 Telecomm) is useful.
  • Change management/process analysis skills.
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to train, present, and interact tactfully with clients and cross-functional partners.
  • Experience with website, API, and Mobile testing.
  • Experience writing and executing test plans.
  • Experience with Oracle, SQL, SQL Server preferred.
  • Knowledge of word-processing, spreadsheet, and database applications.
  • Knowledge of GXP regulations and guidelines.
  • Working knowledge of testing automation tools.
  • Manual testing experience.

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree Required.
  • Seven (7) to ten (10) years of related experience.
  • Management experience Required.
  • Pharmaceutical industry, payer, healthcare experience required.
  • Experience within the prescription industry, retail pharmacy operations, and/or pharmacy claims is preferred.
  • Deep understanding of Patient Support Programs
