Summary:

The Associate Director, HR will play a pivotal role in driving strategic organizational planning, leadership, and talent devilment, and fostering a performance-driven culture.  This role will with limited guidance, provide expertise, support, and advice to assigned management teams globally.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Partnership:

Drive strategic planning processes (succession planning, compensation review, performance review) in alignment with the established timelines through strong partnerships with managers and leaders.

Understand the strategic plans of various businesses, extract HR implications, and drive timely actions.

Analyze talent market trends and HR analytics to meet organizational needs.  Provide reports and analyses as requested by senior management.

Provide input and assist in or lead efforts associated with change management efforts involving reorganizations, mergers/acquisitions, and transfers.

Leadership & Talent Development:

Assess key drivers and gaps in leadership effectiveness and design appropriate interventions.

Enhance leadership quality, focusing on coaching and team feedback.

Identify key talents, provide career consultations with leadership, and track development actions.

Culture:

Promote a performance-driven culture by continuously improving processes and performance.

Design and execute local agendas in line with needs of businesses and associates.

Collaboration with Other HR Functions:

Communicate organizational needs with Compensation, Learning & Development, and Talent Acquisition (COEs) to revisit existing programs or implement new initiatives.

Collaborate with the HR Service Center for seamless processes around associates' life cycles.

Culture of Compliance:

Ensure all business activities comply with relevant Acts, legal requirements, and ethical standards.

Drive projects and ad-hoc initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree required

• 6 years of experience within an HR function as generalist or combination of generalist and specialist experience including experience operating with senior/executive management teams required

• Sound knowledge of local and relevant employment legislation

• Strong knowledge of CRO, CSO or pharmaceutical, medical device or other related business industries

• Excellent leadership skills within a team environment

• Excellent problem-solving with sound judgment and decision-making skills

• Excellent presentation skills

• Expert coaching and counseling skills

• Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications and HRIS applications

• Organization and project management skills

• Effective influencing skills

• Strong verbal and written communication skills and very good interpersonal skills

• Very high degree of discretion and confidentiality

• Good attention to detail

• Good ability to work in a matrix environment

• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers, and clients

•  Professional HR accreditation strongly preferred.

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $102,200.00 - $189,800.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
