About the position

You will be an important part of our overall business and sales team responsible for sales across a defined portfolio of Healthcare Solutions in Ireland. 

As the Sales Specialist you will identify new sales opportunities, develop account strategies, and manage the sales process. You will build customer relationships, generate new business, and contribute to the growth of the organization by aligning the needs of customers with our products and services, making a profound impact throughout the healthcare sector. 

You will:

  • Conduct research to identify new market opportunities and customer needs with an emphasis on market development

  • Establish active communication and engagement to create new leads and sales openings

  • Act as a strategic partner with a consultative approach, offering innovative solutions to client challenges, advising clients on the value of our products and services to help achieve their business goals

  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to grow customer relationships and capitalise on market opportunities

  • Drive the entire sales process, from prospecting to contract closure

  • Build and manage the sales pipeline, providing accurate revenue forecasts

  • Maintain high customer satisfaction through excellent service and proactive communication

  • Coordinate tender responses and collaborate with stakeholders to close successful deals

  • Achieve an individual sales target based on selling to healthcare and government clients across the suite of IQVIA healthcare technology solutions.

About You:

Essential Requirements

  • Bachelors or Masters degree, preferably in an IT, commercial or healthcare-related field

  • B2B sales experience in healthcare technology (e.g. healthcare software or medical devices)

  • Experience working with a healthcare vendor or healthcare employer

  • Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in complex sales environments, in a similar role

  • Strong understanding of the Healthcare sector in Ireland, preferably in digital transformation or value-based healthcare

  • Strong understanding of software sales and the role software plays in clinical and administrative workflows

  • An active network and experience in selling complex technology solutions within the Irish hospital and healthcare sector

  • Proven track record in generating new business and achieving sales targets

  • Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills

  • Ability to navigate complex sales journeys and communicate effectively with senior stakeholders

  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction and success.
