Job Overview:The Data Analytics Consultant provides subject matter expertise and high-level consulting or services support on data analytics projects related to complex business problems and issues. This role is responsible for leading data analytics projects or project teams to provide insights to decision-makers.

Essential Functions:

  • Lead or participate in the design, development, or delivery of data analytics projects.
  • Analyze complex business questions and issues using data from internal and external sources to provide feedback to decision-makers.
  • Identify and interpret trends and patterns in datasets to support the development of recommendations.
  • Construct impact assessments based on business data and market knowledge.
  • Create specifications for reports and analysis based on business needs and available data elements.
  • Proactively identify opportunities and apply best practices to add value to clients.
  • Provide consultation to users and lead cross-functional teams to address business issues.
  • Produce datasets and reports for analysis using IQVIA reporting tools.
  • Manipulate and transform data to optimize analyses.
  • Perform audits of own work or that of others to ensure conformance with established procedures and service level agreements.
  • Work with standalone data systems or enterprise-wide tools supporting activities such as inquiry resolution, data validation, and trend analysis.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of related experience required.
  • Advanced data analysis skills and proficiency in Microsoft software tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Access) and SQL.
  • Ability to work willingly and effectively with others across the organization to accomplish team goals.
  • Knowledge and understanding of fundamental business processes and best practices.
  • Familiarity with methods, tools, and techniques related to the functional area.
  • Understanding of the industry and marketplace.
  • Effective time management and project management skills, including knowledge of appropriate project management tools to enhance project effectiveness.

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $82,700.00 - $137,800.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
