Senior Consultant - IQVIA Global Marketing Services (OneKey)
IQVIA has an opening for a talented Business Development individual to join our Global Marketing Services Team in the role of Sr Consultant
This person will be responsible for leading new and thought-provoking discussions to challenge status quo and ultimately provide the current Marketing Services portfolio solutions that address our clients’ key business challenges.
You must have a good appreciation of Pharma industry, IQVIA offerings and a strong client network and ability to pull end to end solutions together to address client and industry need. Increasingly these engagements tend to be global, should be larger, more complex, and longer term to underpin the relationship and value we bring to our clients.
Responsibilities
- Achieves growth & revenue targets for IQVIA Marketing Services through a consultative sales approach that solves client business issues
- Account planning, customer segmentation and stakeholder mapping for the different Life Sciences customer segments (Pharma, MedTech, EBP, Consumer Health and Pharma)
- Develops new business for Marketing Services, providing the product expertise and sales leadership to identify & qualifyrevenue opportunities, proactively manage the selling process, and close the sale in both existing and new accounts.
- Engage and build strong relationships with senior executives and strategic leaders in the client organization.
- Proactively strengthens in-depth knowledge of services and their application within a client’s enterprise.
- Methodical completion of underpinning sale activities (e.g., account planning, financial reporting, opportunity management, etc)
- Collaborates with customer’s team to target and validate opportunities for assigned customers and territory.
- Seeks “starburst” opportunities within existing customers to grow revenue opportunities across the IQVIA suite of offerings.
Our Ideal Candidate Will Have
• Strategic thinker with a solution focus, combined with ability to execute tactically
• Knowledge of the Pharma industry
• Previous experience of account management - 3 years pref
•Strong sales and opportunity management skills across the full sales cycle (from lead identification to contract negotiations and closing)
• Ability to engage board level contacts, as well as develop a network of senior and middle management contacts to build long lasting trusted partnerships
• Proven ability to manage multiple clients effectively
• Able to create strategic and tactical customer plans
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with proven ability to interpret and present complex concepts
Key Skills
• Proactive, self-motivated, and accountable with the aim to always drive positive client satisfaction
• Strategic thinker with a solution focus, combined with ability to execute tactically
• Fluency / Mother tongue in English a must, plus business fluency in German and/or French is an advantage
