We are seeking a Manager, BioServices Project Management to join IQVIA Laboratories in Durham, NC in a hybrid role.

As the Manager, BioServices Project Management, you will be responsible for lower-level Project Managers and Project Leaders and acting as an authoritative resource regarding the proper procedures and techniques required of the Project Management discipline. You will be the primary point of contact for IQVIA’ external customers, providing exceptional customer service while ensuring that all work meets IQVIA’ scientific standards, and continually seeking out better ways to plan and execute projects.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Providing oversight and conduct of a project throughout its life at IQVIA, including method development, method validation, and sample analysis.
  • Serving as Principal Investigator for GLP studies.
  • Reviewing validation and bioanalytical reports for completeness.
  • Maintaining a strong leadership presence throughout the organization by driving scientific quality and process improvement initiatives.
  • Monitoring the progress of all assigned projects and alert management if work falls behind schedule.
  • Participating in weekly scheduling and revenue update meetings and providing updates on project progress.
  • Reviewing AMSs for completeness and data (run binders, data tables, etc.) for regulatory compliance and scientific quality and addressing issues.
  • Hosting customer visits and leading scientific and business discussions.
  • Planning, assigning, directing work; appraising performance and guiding professional development; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing employee relations issues and resolving problems; and approving actions on human resources matters.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Bachelor's Degree Required.
  • 7 years’ related experience Required.
  • Or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience in GLP laboratory environment Required.

The Knowledge, Skills and Abilities needed for this role:

  • Have a broad bioanalytical knowledge base.
  • Understanding of liquid chromatography and combination with mass spectrometry or In vitro and Immunoassay techniques.
  • Experienced in sample extraction and routine laboratory procedures.
  • Understanding of method development and validation of assays.

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $97,400.00 - $162,300.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
