We are seeking Lab Associate to join IQVIA Laboratories at Durham, NC.
Job Summary:
What You'll Be Doing:
- Perform routine analysis of specimens and document results in accordance with SOPs and applicable regulatory guidelines
- Evaluate the validity of analytical results against algorithms displayed by the laboratory computer system
- Identify and document potential performance errors or unusual results and escalate to senior laboratory personnel
- Prepare buffers and solutions for analysis, as required
- Conduct post-analysis sample and reagent storage
- Assist in the development and writing of new laboratory procedures and techniques
- Support lab housekeeping, safety, quality, and 6S requirements and initiatives
- Communicate clearly, accurately, and on time with cross-functional stakeholders
What We Are Looking For:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's Degree may be required for some CAP/CLIA lab locations in chemistry, biology, or medical laboratory technology
- 6 months relevant lab experience required
- Basic knowledge of lab principles
- Basic knowledge of Good Laboratory Practices and applicable regulatory agency standards
- Knowledge of laboratory safety and infection control procedures and practices, including standard precautions and hazardous chemical handling
- Knowledge of laboratory equipment, instrumentation, and terminology used in the area of responsibility
- Basic computer skills
- Other equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be accepted in lieu of degree

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $35,900.00 - $74,800.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.Where you'll work
