This is a great opportunity to contribute to the IQVIA journey by maximizing brand awareness and buy-in, taking part in the UK & Ireland MarComm’s activities. The Marketing Specialist will be responsible for supporting content, campaign execution, delivery and reporting, working with the UK&I Marketing Manager, local and global teams in all areas of the day-to-day running of the marketing function.

This role would suit a student looking for a 12 month internship or a recently graduated individual looking to develop a career in marketing.

This Internship runs from January 2020 - December 2020.

Principal Responsibilities

  • To develop both digital and offline marketing content, to copywrite for a wide range of external and internal communications
  • To assist with event planning and management and any ad hoc duties as required. This includes: creation of event webpages, coordination of mailing lists (incl. desk research, excel cross-check), invitations and registrations management, and practical commodities (locations, catering, AV requirements)
  • To contribute to campaigns, collecting content input from the business and coordinating distribution
  • To assist with digital marketing and be responsible for the weekly social media content plan development and publication
  • To monitor marketing activity, from planning through to outcomes
  • To release UK&I materials on global platforms (to include website and internal platforms such as SalesSpot, Brandworld)
  • To support POs requests and vendors payments

Candidate Requirements

  • Minimum Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in marketing, communications or business administration
  • An interest in the Life Sciences industry is preferred but not mandatory
  • Excellent PowerPoint and Excel knowledge
  • Creative, dynamic with attention to detail to ensure completeness and accuracy of tasks
  • Flexible with commitment to meet deadlines
  • Proactive, very good communication and presentation skills
  • Experience in CRM, social media management software and video edition skills are an advantage
