IQVIA™ is the leading human data science company focused on helping healthcare clients find unparalleled insights and better solutions for patients. Formed through the merger of IMS Health and Quintiles, IQVIA offers a broad range of solutions that harness the power of healthcare data, domain expertise, transformative technology, and advanced analytics to drive healthcare forward.

 Position Purpose:

The Public Health Asia Pacific team addresses some of the region’s most challenging health issues. We achieve this through data-driven approaches that leverage our public health expertise, along with IQVIA’s full suite of capabilities.

It is an exciting time for IQVIA: 65,000 employees working in 100+ countries are thinking afresh about how to advance human health with data science. Today, IQVIA has over 800,000 data sources which enable us to track 85% of all pharmaceutical sales in the world and analyze over 530 million anonymous patient data records.

The IQVIA Core is a unique set of capabilities derived by the integration of our foundational data, advanced analytics, new technologies, and significant domain expertise to serve new clients.  Historically, the IQVIA Core has served life science organizations; however, the Public Health Practice is working to expand these capabilities to also serve global health donors, UN agencies, and governments.

In Asia Pacific, we are seeing rapid changes in healthcare delivery.  Public and private sector organizations can effectively collaborate to increase life expectancy, end preventable deaths, and eradicate epidemics, but these efforts will require wise investments, forward-thinking policies, and data-driven solutions.

Our team includes clinicians, epidemiologists, biostatisticians, data scientists, tech experts, service experts and many more.  They understand how healthcare works in over 100 markets: what the regulations are, where patients are treated, what treatments are available, how they are reimbursed, and how information is generated.  Our expertise allows us to understand patient pathways and apply data to extract the best insights.
