Associate Director, Sales Operations

The Associate Director, Sales Operations will help build and support a new high-caliber sales team in the rare disease space of Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD). This individual will collaborate and partner with Senior Leadership across IQVIA and NS Pharma to:

  • Cultivate, develop, and foster strategic partnerships to provide insights and recommendations for solutions to drive business performance within NS Pharma’s commercial organization
  • Direct critical sales operations functions and support the development of associated business processes to support the field organization and ensure field sales productivity
    • Sales Force Effectiveness (SFE), Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Performance Dashboards, Incentive Compensation
  • Adapt insights from within NS Pharma and draw upon a deep understanding of industry trends and currently available solutions to anticipate marketplace changes, define a future direction for NS, and then champion change management as needed
  • Manage and support the sales team from the IQVIA side on hiring, performance management, and administrative duties


  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university required; Advanced degree preferred
  • Required Experience:
    • 10 years’ experience in Life Sciences Sales, Marketing and/or Commercial Operations with demonstrated strong operations, as well as business and/or sales leadership
    • Managing third-party providers
    • Leading teams focused on developing efficient and effective operational processes and technology solutions
    • Working with Pharmaceutical Sales Data, such as IQVIA
    • Evaluating and implementing technology to improve efficiency and productivity
    • Strong computer skills including advanced proficiency with all IQVIA Office applications, MS Project and/or Visio
  • Preferred Experience:
    • Orphan and/or infusion products and working with Patient HUBs
  • Ability to work in Paramus, NJ and Parsippany, NJ Monday-Friday
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% domestically and internationally
