My vocational journey is a unique one. I began my career in politics, worked in media and then entered biopharmaceutical government affairs. Today I lead public policy, reporting into our general counsel, where I am responsible for IQVIA’s external engagement with local and national governments. As our lead in-house lobbyist, every day is different. But the diversity of my experiences, just like my own life, are celebrated within our organization.

When I first started at IQVIA, I knew instantly this was a place that nurtured careers, where people from all backgrounds could fully contribute to the growth and success of the organization. I have been encouraged to ask big questions and to try out new ideas that help shape the direction of the company.

Even though we pause in June to celebrate the LGBT+ community, I believe IQVIA champions equality all year long. Through our Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) and the countless partnerships we have with local organizations around the world, we are always looking for new ways to support each other and our communities.

I believe IQVIA excels at making such a large company feel more personal and comfortable for LGBT+ employees and allies alike. An example of this is the standout mentorship program within our LGBT+ ERG. As a senior leader in our global legal function, I enjoy mentoring LGBT+ colleagues who are early in their careers, particularly those who are looking to share more of their own stories at work.

IQVIA was formed through the joining of two legacy organizations whose leadership wanted to do something different in the life sciences industry. True to this vision, we strive every day to nurture an environment of inclusion where creativity and new ideas thrive.

Our network of Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) provides a framework for employees to connect and collaborate with colleagues with similar backgrounds or interests.
