Job Description

IQVIA has an exciting opportunity to serve as the strategic leader responsible for setting and executing marketing and digital strategies as well as building and managing the organizational infrastructure to enable service lines to grow and deliver on their value proposition.

Essential Duties:

  • Provides strategic leadership to drive best-in-class marketing and campaign plans in collaboration with key division leaders.
  • Develops and implements strategic and tactical marketing plans to support business growth plans focused on increasing growth.
  • Analyzes business growth related to market strategies and accepts accountability for outcomes of strategies.
  • Acts as a thought leader by collaborating with division leaders to identify areas of opportunity and differentiation through marketing initiatives.
  • Drive the integration of marketing value added services throughout the entire US organization
  • Establishes deep, effective partnerships with senior leadership
  • Proactively monitors the market dynamics, including competitive activity, consumer and technology trends and other influencers. Shares recommendations if adjustments in plans, budget or priorities are warranted.
  • Researches and identifies external marketing and advertising resources as needed.
  • Develops and leads high performing team of 20+ marketing professionals.
  • Provides direct reports and team members with clear expectations and timely performance feedback.
  • Establishes and manages division marketing budget with measurable ROI.
  • Gathers, prepares and presents semi annual reports on all division marketing activities.
  • Implement value proposition and all brand strategy regionally in conjunction with Global Marketing.
  • Oversees the development of communications and marketing materials (advertising, public relations, websites, etc.) that support the strategic marketing objectives.
  • Implement cutting edge marketing, social media, digital/ecommerce technologies  where appropriate
  • Oversees and assists with client, internal and industry events.


  • Requires a minimum of 10-15 years of progressive marketing leadership in healthcare services with a focus on technology and consulting
  • Minimum five (5) years of digital experience while being very versed in social media and digital outreach
  • Strong track record of leadership and delivering tangible results
  • Experience with:
    • navigating complex, matrixed organizations
    • driving and delivering client and sales meetings
    • implementation and harmonization of CRM technologies
  • Previous experience managing a large team
  • Proven Budget management and negotiation experience
  • Product Management experience is a plus
