Job Summary

The UX Designer will support Product Design efforts and the establishment of pattern libraries & UI guidelines.  The UX Designer collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to create optimal product usability.

Summary of Essential Job Functions

  • Develop wireframes, behavioral specifications and personas
  • Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps
  • Drive projects from concept to production
  • Present design proposals that are backed by research and data
  • Gain consensus among stakeholders without compromising the strategic design direction.
  • Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness)
  • Adhere to company style standards on fonts, colors and images

Supervisory Responsibilities

This position does not have responsibility for managing people.

Minimum Experience Requirements

  • Bachelors degree or higher, and extensive hand-on experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years relevant experience

Skill Requirements

  • Experience designing user interfaces for web-based applications
  • Experience with wireframe tools (e.g. InVision)
  • Familiarity with responsive user interfaces with multiple devices (e.g. full-size monitor, tablet, mobile phone)
  • Ability to drive all aspects of the design process including visual design, interaction design and user research
  • Grasp on current trends in design and user experience
  • Excellent analytical and creative thinking abilities
  • Good interpersonal communication and presentation skills
  • Attention to detail
