Provide senior level input, perform, manage and coordinate data collection activities associated with the delivery of proposals to include detailed country, site and patient strategy development for assigned opportunities/ projects. Analyze data and present to internal and external stakeholders together with recommendations. Provide oversight to data collection and analysis teams including identifying training needs and IT development needs.


  • Accountable for collaboration with the Therapeutic Strategy Leads, Evidence Strategy Leads, Medical Directors and Advisors, and epidemiologists in delivering on IQVIA commitments for future studies in terms of country, site and patient strategies including enrollment simulations
  • Subject Matter Expert of IQVIA CORE powered solutions, assuring all relevant data is being leveraged for and included in client deliverables
  • Project oversight of CP&A input pertaining to assigned opportunities and initiatives
  • Liaison across CP&A functional areas and other cross functional teams such as the Analytics Center of Excellence
  • Identify opportunities and develop plan to include ACOE involvement during strategy development
  • Prepare for and attend strategy calls with internal stakeholders including Medical Directors and Advisors, Business Developers, Sales Staff and Program Directors.
  • Make recommendations and suggestions to the team with regards to strategy development (data utilization, process implementation, inclusion of other IQVIA teams for added value).
  • Liaise with internal and external customers globally to coordinate the collection and delivery of appropriate data from broad range of sources
  • Coordinate data and input from multiple sources and groups to address questions around patient analytics to inform enrolment rates, site identification, and other qualitative factors
  • Where appropriate provide guidance to GFL on the generation of outputs and review of final deliverable(s) prior to distribution to TSL and other applicable opportunity team members
  • SME for data sources and tools utilized within the strategy development process.
  • CP&A oversight of the collection and analysis of feasibility information to meet the challenging timelines of the proposal process
  • Reconcile and interpret cross-functional data, providing solid recommendations and scenario planning as required
  • Ensure harmonization of data outputs across teams to provide a coordinated project strategy and proposal
  • Where possible, coordinate the collection of applicable data to allow GFL/SSI/CA&S to commence data mining and the production of outputs in advance of strategy call
  • Attend and facilitate Metrics, Analysis, and Planning (MAP) calls
  • Responsible for compilation of supporting documentation and filing of the MAP file output, including but not limited to documentation of discussions/decisions made that ultimately impacted the final strategy model  
  • Input into, review, and production of proposal text from that integrates information sources used for the proposal strategy.
  • Attend and contribute to Challenge calls, representing the CP&A function
  • Attend Bid defence and other client meetings as required to present IQVIA data analysis results and other strategy, process and explain recommendations
  • Undertake therapeutic training, as necessary, and keep abreast of developments in clinical research generally
  • Contribute to training and support of new and existing CP&A, TSSU and ADSC team members
  • Lead initiatives relevant to RFP, proposal data analysis, and overall process improvement as appropriate

Required knowledge, skills and abilities:

  • Global Feasibility and Clinical Study strategy development experience is preferred
  • Presentation skills, ideally at the executive and client facing level
  • General knowledge and understanding of IQVIA systems, data sources, procedures and corporate standards
  • Good knowledge of medical terminology, GCP, FDA regulations, and Drug Development process
  • In-depth understanding of clinical research
  • Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Fluent report writing in English
  • Strong computer literacy, including well-developed skills in applicable software
  • Project management and team leadership skills
  • Ability to work independently and effectively prioritize tasks

Minimum required education and experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in life sciences or related field, with 5 years’ relevant experience including demonstrable experience in a data driven strategy development role or equivalent combination of education, training and experience

Physical requirements:

  • Extensive use of keyboard requiring repetitive motion of fingers.
  • Extensive use of telephone and face-to-face communication requiring accurate perception of speech.
  • Regular sitting for extended periods of time.
  • May require occasional travel.
