The Therapy Development Specialist Medical Device (Full Time) is a position
being hired by IQVIA in partnership with Edwards Lifesciences. The Therapy
Development Specialist will dedicate their time and focus on the adoption and
development of a specific area/ market. As a subject matter expert in severe
aortic stenosis and transcatheter aortic valve replacement, the TDS will be boots
on the ground connecting on a regular basis with general cardiologists to provide
ongoing education. This is accomplished by establishing mutually beneficial,
long-term relationship with key physicians and their clinical staff. This role is
expected to work in lock and step and close integration/collaboration with the
sales force to ensure maximum therapy awareness efforts.


Your responsibilities will include:


Build healthcare provider relationships through therapy awareness
activities, routine customer visits, product demonstrations, educational
programs, electronic outreach and general outreach
 Develop relationships with Heart Teams to understand hospital dynamics,
patient care and procedure specifics.
 Become a disease state and therapy expert to help HCP’s manage
patients and refer for the appropriate treatment. Educate physicians on
proper patient selection and clinical data.
 Identify key accounts, health care professionals, and business issues that
are impacting business growth.
 Identify and address HCP clinical needs and barriers to fully adopting the
therapy.
 Identify key referral networks and the patient pathway
 This role be working closely with Edwards Sales Management and
Marketing.


Qualifications/Experience
4year Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university and/or Minimum 5 years of sales experience calling on physicians
required
 Medical device or pharmaceutical sales experience preferred
 Cardiology experience (sales or clinical) preferred
 Demonstrated success in prior roles
 Have a valid driver’s license and be insurable
