We are excited to announce we are looking for Territory Managers to join our team of over 10,000 global field representatives in several regions making over 20 million product details annually for our pharmaceutical and biotech clients.  
 
Territory Manager
 
The Territory Manager is primarily responsible for achieving sales forecast and gaining access of promoted products and, subsequently, sales of products within assigned territory.  This is accomplished by establishing mutually beneficial, long-term business relationships with healthcare providers and pharmacists that will be key to the sales success for the promoted products.  The Territory Manager is also responsible for coordinating sales strategies with appropriate teammates to maximize sales in assigned territory.
 
Duties/Responsibilities
 
  • Generate/support sales in line with assigned Territory quota/responsibilities
  • Maintain and update current and prospective target Prescriber profiles
  • Keep current with market and competitive products knowledge
  • Maintain/operate in a professional manner representing the Customer and Customer Products
  • Participate in all required training and sales meetings scheduled
  • Plan and organize Territory to meet sales and call targets goals
  • Make sales presentations (Details) – individual, one-on-one, in-services to appropriate HCPs
  • If applicable, maintain sample inventories, distribute samples, comply with sample accountability procedures and policies, comply with the Prescription Drug Marketing Act of 1987 (“PDMA”)
  • Make complete, accurate and timely submission of all time-keeping, Details, call activity, expense reports, and sample activity (when applicable)
  • Full Compliance with Promotional Program(s), and proper use of Promotional Materials and Promotional Expense Budgets
  • Participate or coordinate approved lunch & learns and/or evening educational programs, as deemed appropriate within territory
  • Have appropriate interaction with co-promotional partners or counterparts if applicable

Job Requirements

Qualifications/Experience
 
  • 4-year Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university required
  • Minimum 5 years pharmaceutical/device sales experience required
  • Minimum 3 years specialty pharmaceutical experience required
  • Minimum 1 year experience selling to allergists and/or pediatricians preferred
  • Business-to-business or direct sales experience a strong plus
  • Candidates with launch experience, experience working in a start-up organization and a desire to work in an entrepreneurial environment preferred
  • Demonstrated success in prior sales roles
  • Excellent organization, oral presentation and communication skills
  • Have a valid driver’s license and be insurable
  • Ability to travel as necessary to cover territory responsibilities
