IQVIA is now hiring for a contract Study Start-Up internship in our Wilmington, NC office.

BASIC FUNCTIONS:

Responsible for assisting with ISS Department efforts to centralize the various sources of study start metrics into one system.  Role will focus on moving data as well as working with colleagues to complete currently incomplete data.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lean how to access and download data IQVIA Biotech’s investigator site portal
  • Utilize Excel to organize the data in a manner so that it can be uploaded into the Clinical Trial Management Systems (CTMS)
  • Work with colleagues to identify gaps in the data and to find the missing data
  • Performs other duties as required.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to express complex ideas to team members.
  • Understanding and ability to utilize Excel
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Positive attitude and ability to interact with all levels of staff
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Demonstrated ability to use sound judgment and assess and recommend specific solutions in the work setting.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work somewhat independently, prioritize and work with a matrix team environment is essential. 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Very limited physical effort required to perform normal job duties

MINIMUM RECRUITMENT STANDARDS:

  • High School Diploma and working toward higher education certification
  • Working knowledge of Word, Excel is required

CLASSIFICATION:

This position is classified as non-exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act; employees are eligible for overtime compensation subject to prior approval.
