Data Science & Advanced Analytics is responsible for quality and further developments for the statistical procedures and methods used. The team is in charge for the maintenance and improvements mainly in the field of survey methodology and data quality assurance. More over the team executes statistical analyses of highest level to support international customers. Position Purpose:

Member of the Data Science & Advanced Analytics – CESE (Central, East and South Europe). Under broad guidance, you will provide expertise in developing and applying statistical methodologies to support set-up, implementation and maintenance of solutions for CESE Business Unit with a special focus on Southern Europe countries.

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Development and implementation of statistical algorithms to support new processes and offerings
  • Member of project team ensuring efficient and effective project delivery to meet project team and client expectations
  • Quantitative and qualitative analysis in collaboration with BU engagement manager and country local offices
  • Design and support for new innovative solutions for our pharmaceutical industry clients with focus on machine learning technologies – keywords: predictive analytics and “insight to foresight”
  • Share learnings and knowledge with broader team, including the global Data Science and Advanced Analytics team and broader local country organization.

What we are looking for:

  • Master degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics/Econometrics or related fields
  • At least 2 years of professional experience in quantitative data analyses, ideally with market research or health and life sciences project experience
  • Good knowledge of the statistical and econometric methods in theory and in practice (multivariate analyses, regression analyses, sampling etc)
  • Up-to-date in machine learning and data mining techniques as well as practical experience in predictive analytics
  • Very good knowledge in R/Python/SAS/SQL as well as proficiency in MS Office.
  • Strong analytical, interpretive and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to deliver high quality work within challenging timelines
  • A commitment to working independently and collaboratively with others in and across the team
  • Proven time management and personal organizational skills
  • Good communication and presentation skills.
  • Italian language skills (mother tongue) and fluency in English (spoken and written)
