PURPOSE


Provide programming assistance as part of the Statistical Programming (SP) team to test, maintain, and document programs to meet internal and external clients’ needs. Assist with the development of project-related statistical programming solutions under the direction of the SP Lead.


AS PART OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES, YOU WILL:

  • Assist in programming, testing, and documenting statistical programs for use in creating statistical tables and listing summaries.
  • Assist in programming analysis databases (derived datasets) and transfers of data for internal and external clients.
  • Assist in programming database quality control checks.
  • Assist in development of programming documentation including plans and specifications, as appropriate.
  • Assist in developing, implementing and validating new process technologies, macros and applications.
  • Assist project lead in fulfilling project responsibilities.

MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE


You should be active enrolled in a computer science or related field degree program at an accredited college or university; or equivalent combination of education, training and experience


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Extensive use of telephone, face-to-face communication requiring accurate perception of speech and of keyboard requiring repetitive motion of fingers
  • Regular sitting for extended periods
  • Flexibility on travelling
