We currently have a great opportunity to join IQVIA within our Technology Solutions team – the team responsible for our market-leading Technology, Information Management & Analytics services to our customers spanning Pharmaceutical and FMCG industries.

We are seeking a Business Analyst for our Sydney Office, who will work with both our onshore and offshore teams.  This presents a unique opportunity to enter IQVIA at a mid-level and take advantage of the exposure you will get to IQVIA’s great data assets, technology, variety of services and most importantly top talent.

As a Business Analyst, you will work closely with internal stakeholders and clients, clearly understand business & functional requirements to design and manage delivery of our solutions.  You will be responsible for UI designs, dashboards, reports, and custom solutions using standard and best practices, provide walkthroughs to the wider teams, whilst retaining a hands-on focus.

Responsibilities include:

• Identify and document requirements for our BI and CRM solutions for multiple client environments in a high-paced, agile development environment.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders and clients to ensure requirements are well documented and packaged in a format suitable for agile and rapid development processes.
• Work closely with project managers and technical leads to ensure customer deliveries and expectations are managed efficiently.
• Work with service & support team to resolve escalated operational issues.
• Work and coordinate across our onshore and offshore development and QA teams.
• Work on multiple projects simultaneously and prioritise if required without compromising on quality of deliverables.
• Assist with business development activities, review, and analyse client requirements/problems and provide appropriate solutions.

You will bring:                                      

• Bachelor's Degree Computer Science or Business Administration or equivalent
• 3+ years of experiences as a business analyst or a functional consultant
• Excellent experience with requirement gathering techniques, requirement management and efficient document management.
• Experience with standard UI designing tools like MS Visio, Balsamiq, Pencil Project using industry best practices.
• Experience in designing functional specification templates wherever required based on client needs.
• Sound knowledge of maintaining requirements using traceability matrix and document version control.
• Experience in conducting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) both with internal and external stakeholders.
• Exposure to conducting client workshops and internal walkthroughs for both development and QA teams.
• Recent experience working as a Business Analyst on large and complex data sets would be an added advantage.
• Knowledge of tools like MS SharePoint, JIRA, Confluence would be an added advantage.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate well with stakeholders, business and technical skills with good communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to influence, engage and build effective relationships at all levels internally and externally.
• A “can-do” attitude to work closely with the team on complex projects and to ensure team bonding and customer delight.
