The Sr Software QA Engineer role is an exciting work from home opportunity preferably in the Eastern or Central time zone working with a team of highly skilled and creative engineers and analysts expanding the architecture, features and delivery efficiency of the IQVIA Registry Platform.


  • Review requirements, specifications and technical design artifacts to provide timely and meaningful feedback
  • Participate in discussions (involving onsite/offshore teams) of requirement analysis/clarifications, architecture, design and development,  test and validation
  • Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases for new development as well as integration, regression and performance plans
  • Design, Author and execute test scripts with focus on quality and maintainability
  • Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
  • Identify, Log and Analyze defects to understand impacts; work with team toward resolution
  • Performs internal peer reviews for test script quality and effectiveness
  • Mentor Junior SVTs and provide inputs as appropriate for meeting on-time deliveries with quality
  • Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies
  • Problem-solving and thinking laterally as part of a team, or individually, to meet the needs of the project
  • Deliver quality software on time


  • Strong knowledge in Software Validation and Processes
  • Communication Decision making
  • Bachelor’s Degree in computer science preferred; or equivalent combination of education, training and experience
  • Flexible enough to adjust to the change in work / technology / Team / etc
  • Complete ownership of deliverables
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with proven technical writing abilities
  • Team-oriented thinking with demonstrated ability to produce high-quality work as part of a fast-paced, dynamic team
  • Proven ability to collaborate with and drive cross-functional and interdepartmental teams
