Senior Sales Engineer – the role

As a member of the Technology Solutions Sales team, the Sales Engineer plays a critical role in supporting the entire sales cycle for our global software solutions, bridges the gap between the Sales and Delivery teams post sale, and acts as a conduit between our customers and offering development teams to drive innovation and competitiveness.

This is a dynamic and rewarding role that puts you in a unique position to engage with a diverse range of healthcare industry clients and help them evaluate solutions to drive the commercial and compliance success of their business. You will apply your creativity, experience and industry knowledge to complex business problems within commercial healthcare compliance, become an expert in our technology solutions, and maintain a committed focus to the broader technology space. You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team with opportunities to collaborate across the product development, information solutions, consulting and sales organizations. Your typical activities might include:

  • Collaborate with sales executives to develop business development strategies, pitch decks and solution design material
  • Assess and scope new opportunities, develop proposals and contribute to RFP responses
  • Provide compelling product demonstrations and value-driven storytelling to win new business
  • Articulate and defend the unique value propositions that differentiate our solutions from competitors
  • Understand the unique needs of our prospective clients and position our solutions to address them in a meaningful way
  • Contribute to strategic initiatives across the sales, offering and delivery organizations

Qualification:

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • 3-5 years in a software delivery or software sales or solutioning role
  • Management consulting/systems integration experience, preferably with a similar consulting firm focusing on the Pharma industry, a plus
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience required (Computing / Engineering / MIS / Information Science)
  • Fluent, verbal and written, in English
  • Successful track record in growing accounts and consistently maintaining positive client relationships
  • Willingness to have a different opinion, ability to articulate thoughts and concepts well
  • Have willingness and preference to “roll up sleeves” and work alongside the team
