About the team

The Offering Development Team sits within the Performance Management pillar as part of the Global Technology business vertical.

The team comprises a range of responsibilities including Product Management, GTM Execution, Development & Operational Models, Support and Training.

Overview of the role

The role is part of the Offering Development team as a Senior Manager, Offering Management focused as a Strategic Business Analyst.

The successful candidate will take responsibility to:

  • Create and execute a governed process that will drive a more systematic approach to developing and delivering offerings across the organization
  • Work with GBU/RBUs on large-scale platform/re-platforming solutions to understand, align and document business needs with financial attainments.
  • Recommend strategic/tactical PM/BI technology selections that will drive future company offerings.
  • Support company strategic goals such as sunset of legacy BI tools

They will interact with colleagues at a global and local level and gain exposure to a truly multi-cultural and collaborative work environment.

Principal accountabilities

  • Define a new overall process to: better drive governance, capture business requirements, document using new/existing tools for internal/client project deliveries
  • For new offerings, understand client & product needs & provide guidance on the PM/BI approach
  • For complex new/existing offerings, translate client & product owner needs into business requirements & functional specifications
  • Act as the single point of contact for internal stakeholders who want guidance on PM/BI strategy, working closely with the BTPs
  • Proactively support global PM&I team product managers with gaining client feedback to inform product roadmaps
  • Identify operational implications of sun-setting legacy BI tools & migration from legacy to next generation platforms

Qualifications, experience and skills required

  • You must have a strong, proven pharmaceutical or health care market experience in delivering highly complex solutions with the ability to apply your skills creatively to diverse projects
  • Be able to truly understand, document with attention to detail and recommend PM/BI technologies
  • Experience and knowledge of the PM/BI needs of IQVIA and Client users
  • A strong understanding of IQVIA data sources especially Global, National and Sub National
  • Strong collaboration and influencing skills; willingness and ability to work effectively with others across the organization to accomplish team goals
  • Ability to problem solve issues experienced by our internal users
  • Graduate in a relative degree subject
