The Team

IQVIA RWE teams work with clients globally to help them use novel methods of evidence generation from observational trials, combined primary and secondary data, and complex, clinically rich, patient-level healthcare datasets.  Our approach is unique in the industry and is defining the way companies can develop and apply Real World Insights (RWI) to provide deeper insight about market dynamics, therapy area changes, outcomes research and other scientific insights.


We are looking for a metrics-driven sale leader to maximize the success of our business development team.  The candidate will be responsible for managing a team of talented sales/business developers who are focused on managing and growing client relationships.  The team is focused on aligning our client’s business issues and challenges to our offerings and capabilities in RWE.  Our ideal candidate is someone with a strong track record of successfully managing sales/business development resources through a metric-driven and cadence approach.  We have a strong entrepreneurial culture, and seek an individual who can excel in a growth-oriented culture. 

Principal Accountabilities

  • Strong team management, sales cadence, and productivity assessment skills
  • Effective customer relationship management skills—consults with customers to truly understand their needs and positions the most appropriate solution to meet the client needs
  • Must possess the willingness and ability to collaborate across functional teams
  • Achievement of revenue & growth targets for the RWE franchise
  • Ability to link client’s business issues and challenges with IQVIA’s offerings
  • Experience in developing and evolving strategic and tactical account plans and utilizing derived metrics to manage the business
  • Ability to coach others on how to identify new opportunities and maintain a pipeline of projects to exceed business targets
  • Demonstrated ability to interface with customer at all levels by effectively using current relationships and building new customer relationships

BS/BA required with more than ten (10) years of business development experience in Life Sciences.  Must be capable of selling and closing large proposals along with the ability to influence decision makers.  Individual must have excellent oral presentation and writing skills, act with a sense of urgency, and be able to lead a team.
