Responsibilities/Essential Functions

Partners with business leaders to develop and articulate vision. Develops communications strategy and leads execution of multi-channel communication plans to align employees to vision, priorities, and operating principles.

Establishes and reinforces the “voice” of the RBU, ensuring its vision, priorities, values, and culture are reflected across all communications channels and collateral.

Provides communications counsel and support to RBU senior leadership; develops and delivers senior leadership messaging to inform, inspire and engage employees across the RBU.

Oversees RBU internal communications strategy, messaging, budget and resources. Reviews and approves all content prior to publication.

Develops the internal communications plan, cadence, and deliverables for significant business events – senior-level organization changes, quarterly business updates, and RBU-level recognition programs.

Supports VP, HR on RBU and global initiatives, providing counsel, content development, project management, and/or communications as needed.

Develops and implements employee engagement, business transformation, culture, and Corporate Social Responsibility strategy and programs to enhance employee experience as a driver of business performance.

Monitors and interprets corporate Employee Engagement Survey findings and develops and delivers programs to enhance employee experience; sets strategic framework for RBU pulse surveys to measure engagement and develops plans based on survey insights.

Develops and implements engagement and communication programs to support execution of RBU people strategy.

Partners with Corporate and select external stakeholders to leverage and/or tailor global and CSR partner programs to drive engagement and support achievement of RBU business priorities across all dimensions of engagement.

Provides thought leadership and advocacy on employee engagement to business leaders and throughout the organization; leads the RBU Employee Engagement Liaison advocacy community.

Leads planning and execution of employee recognition programs – aligning with global programs and building/embedding/promoting RBU-specific programs.

Oversees development and execution of acquisition-related internal communications and onboarding for RBU new hires and acquired employees.

Experience

Typically requires a minimum of 15 years of prior relevant experience.

Knowledge

  • Significant experience in employee engagement, culture, change management, executive communications, and/or strategic organizational communications.
  • Requires broad management and leadership knowledge to lead multiple impact areas, the ability to influence others to accept practices and approaches.
  • Requires exceptional written and verbal communication skills, and an ability to think strategically.
