Senior Consultant, Real World Evidence

Delivers high quality, on-time deliverables to client projects in the life sciences field. Ideally experienced within Epidemiology and Health Economics.

Reviews and analyzes client requirements and develops insightful, value add proposals; communicates with clients; develops and may present complete client-specific solutions and recommendations.  Creates client reports.  Primarily project focused and solution driven. Develops and/or elevates new business opportunities through the identification of follow-on work and new leads.  Provides follow-up with client after project deliverables are complete to ensure client satisfaction.

Coaches/mentors teams; business development and contributes to driving thought leadership.

  • Experienced researcher (preferably in epidemiology/RWE/health economics)
  • Able to work in a consultancy setting; combining high scientific standards with a commercial environment
  • Ambitious
  • Preferably Dutch speaking and writing
  • Minimum of 5 years working experience, preferably more

Job Profile Summary

Responsible for the on-time completion of projects or components of large, complex projects for clients in the life sciences field. Identifies and elevates potential new business opportunities and assists in the business development process.

Responsibilities

  • Project management and delivery RWE projects in English and Dutch (main part of the work). Projects could consist of observational studies, retrospective data studies, predictive and prescriptive analyses.  (Supervising) multidisciplinary projects.
  • Managing/carrying out health economic research
  • (Supervising the) building and adaptation of economic models in Excel
  • (Supervising the) analysis and interpretation of quantitative ‘real-world’ data
  • Reviews and analyzes client requirements or problems and assists in the development of proposals.
  • Provides direction and guidance to Analysts, Consultants, and where relevant, to Statistical Services assigned to engagement.
  • Performs qualitative and/or quantitative analyses to assist in the identification of client issues and the development of client specific solutions.
  • Designs, structures and delivers client reports and presentations that are appropriate to the characteristics or needs of the audience.
  • Recommends improvements and alternative solutions to resolve problems.
  • May identify new business opportunities of follow-on work and new leads at assigned client.
  • Provides follow-up with client after project deliverable has been completed to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Proactively develops broader and deeper knowledge of related consulting methodologies and life sciences market through on the job experience and participation in training opportunities. Begins to develop ‘centre of excellence’ specific subject matter expertise.
  • Writing scientific reports and proposals
  • Writing study protocols and the methodology and result section of reports
  • Preparing abstracts, presentations and manuscripts for scientific conferences and/or journals
