Role Purpose:

The Global Market Insights team delivers critical information and data to inform key strategic decisions made by Life Science organizations across the globe.

As a senior finance analyst you will partner with the Global Market Insights & MedTech Associate Finance Director and the Senior Management team to provide technical support, analysis and insights into the financial operations of GMI & MedTech. The successful candidate will be driving and influencing forecasting, planning and ad hoc analysis to meet GMI/MedTech and Corporate requirements.

Principle Accountabilities:

  • Accurate and timely reporting of GMI, ChannelDynamics and MedTech actual and forecast financials on a monthly basis, including liaison with GMI product owners and Corporate Reporting team. 
  • Assisting in annual plan process and assisting in operationalizing the plan. 
  • Investment prioritization, management and support to product owners in development of business cases and gate reviews. 
  • Analysis and interpretation of consolidated financials to drive improved cash management initiatives for GMI, ChannelDynamics and MedTech
  • Ad hoc analysis to identify key growth drivers, trends, risks and opportunities. Monitor performance indicators and analyze causes of unexpected variance. 
  • Supporting Management Team in formulating plans to achieve goals and execution of plans, both short term (proactive management of risks and opportunities) and longer-term.  
  • Ownership of all financial reporting and management of GMI, ChannelDynamics and MedTech costs. 
  • Interfacing with wider [Commercial Segment] finance organization. 
  • Assisting management in preparation of operating review meetings, executive leadership group meetings and annual plan review meetings. 
  • Maintaining and improving the control environment. 
  • Develop financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives. 
  • Perform quarterly reporting of Sales Incentive Payouts
  • Assist in Finance Integration activities for acquisitions
  • Support in key finance integration activities.
  • Support in acquisitions synergies and cost efficiencies.
  • Maintaining Midas Quantum CAF access for these clients, and updating Sales and Client Service of any local audit subscriptions that relate to Midas Quantum packages
