Key Responsibilities

The primary purpose of this role is to focus on outbound calling with the objective of booking product demonstrations and follow up calls for the Account Managers to show the suite of products and services that IQVIA Global Market Insights offer. This contributes directly to top line revenue growth and aims to enhance prospect relationships and increase the volume of quality customer touch points.

Responsibilities include:

Work with Account Managers to develop and execute client engagement plans across assigned customers to deliver against revenue and service goals in line with Global Market Insights strategy and report activities to management.

  • Sourcing relevant companies
  • Calling new business prospects and allocated account/s as appropriate
  • Proactively enter and track all information and leads using a CRM system
  • Follow up on specific management and marketing driven campaigns
  • Continuation of data cleansing to ensure accurate information for follow up and marketing activity
  • Strive to meet and exceed all established goals and targets
  • To be able to successfully deliver on the above, time will be spent covering various activities including, but not limited to:
    • Call planning, business development planning, opportunity management, CRM and financial reporting
    • Increase Client Satisfaction thorough positive client engagements
    • Various admin (e.g. using Concur & SFDC)
  • During sales calls and customer interaction focus will need to be put on key activities such as but not limited to below:
    • Gaining a comprehensive understanding of the client’s business, challenges and strategy to become partner of choice and drive IQVIA business
    • Developing and growing a network of key contacts across clients at all levels.
    • Positioning and expanding value of IQVIA solutions and offerings
    • Identifying any potential threats to existing IQVIA business within client base, including any client dissatisfaction, competitive activity, low usage or perceived value of existing services etc and either recommend or, where possible, take corrective action to rectify the situation via working with the Senior Manager, Global Market Insights.
  • Achieve growth and revenue targets for relevant IQVIA offerings across customer base
  • Collaborate with the Sales Specialists to target opportunities for assigned customers.
  • Continually develop and update own knowledge and understanding of pharmaceutical and consumer health industry, IQVIA organisation and offerings and that of nominated client base.
