Clinical Project Management is focused on project delivery, productivity and quality resulting in strong financial performance and customer satisfaction. The Associate Project Lead supports the efforts of the Project Lead to understand project requirements and how third-party vendors impact them; driving vendor selection including managing services, expectations and risks. The Associate Project Lead is a member of the core project team responsible for project delivery of clinical studies to meet contractual requirements in accordance with SOPs, policies and practices.

This is an important and high-profile role within our Research & Development Operation and IQVIA’s size and global footprint will present you with the breadth of opportunities necessary to develop your career as a Project Leader.

Typically assigned to multiple vendors, responsibilities might include:

  • Provide input into the development of integrated study management plans
  • Collaborate with other functional groups to support milestone achievement and to manage study issues and obstacles.
  • Identify risk (positive and negative) and contingencies and partner with Project Leader in problem solving and resolution efforts
  • Support the Project Leader in ensuring the financial success of the project
  • Forecast and identify opportunities to accelerate activities to bring revenue forward in partnership with the Project Leader
  • Identify changes in scope and partner with Project Leader to manage change control process as necessary
  • Identify lessons learned and implement best practices

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Bachelor's degree in life sciences or related field
  • 2 - 3 years of prior relevant experience with intermediate level knowledge of principles, theories, and concepts of clinical research
  • Multi-therapeutic background would be advantageous
