You will be responsible for IQVIA Italy End User Support on IT issues and requests (2nd level and Asset Management).

Main responsibilities:

  • Using remote control tools or hands-on solve Tier 2 tickets or tickets passed to local Site Support queue by the Service Desk
  • Adhere to establish IT policies, procedures and standards and ensure conformity with IT systems goals and procedures
  • Maintain a thorough working knowledge of the day-to-day operating environment, available tools and client/business applications
  • Maintain a working knowledge of Service Desk and IT Operations Procedures related to IT End User Platform Support
  • Provide assistance in the areas of Site Support and project specific assignments
  • Support global projects deployment
  • Maintain currency and high level of technical skill in field of expertise
  • Build computers using IQVIA image and in accordance with IQVIA Work Instructions
  • Maintain proper asset management according to IQVIA standard in global IT Asset Management tools/systems (ITAM, Service Now CMDB)
  • Provide support for business applications which need to be resolved locally
  • Provide training to end-users in standard Windows OS and Microsoft Office 365
  • Escalate more complex problems to the Senior IT/IT Director or reassign tickets in Service Now to the appropriate Support Teams
  • Perform other IT duties per Manager request

What we are looking for:
We're looking for someone with around 2-3 years of experience in IT.

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft operating systems and networking activities
  • Working knowledge of LAN and WAN environments (fixed and mobile)
  • Working knowledge of communication systems and devices
  • ITIL Certificate - advantage
  • Possess strong verbal and written communication skills (both in English and Italian)
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, managers and clients.
