PURPOSE
Build and maintain partnerships at IQVIA Prime Sites to maximize the recruitment of patients into trials whilst adhering to high quality standards and improving the experience of patients, site staff and customers working with IQVIA. With input, develop and own the Prime Site Strategic Plan, in liaison with key stakeholders at site and at IQVIA, to promote a growth and differentiation strategy, to collaborate on innovation in clinical research, to build expanded capability, to drive productivity and maintain robust quality management. Be an advocate for Prime Sites internally and externally.
 
 
RESPONSIBILITIES
Implement the IQVIA Prime Site strategy, to maximize site productivity, concentrating on recruiting more patients from fewer sites whilst maintaining high quality standards.
Enhance the experience of patients, site staff and customers working with IQVIA through Prime Sites.
 
With guidance develop and implement the IQVIAs Prime Site strategic plan promoting growth and differentiation, working with the site to execute the strategic imperatives of the plan. This will include site non-project specific strategies e.g. study start up processes, patient recruitment methodologies, infrastructure and capabilities enhancement, strengthening and alignment of recruitment pipelines and leveraging innovation to advance clinical research.
 
Maintain and share metrics as well as pipeline information with the prime sites on a routine basis.
 
Identify opportunities for Prime Sites to participate in studies that match site capabilities, by collaborating with therapeutic area/project strategy teams. Work to adjust prime site capabilities to IQIVA available study portfolio, actively liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
 
Be the point of contact for Governance teams, senior stakeholders and site staff. Participate and organize Joint Executive Steering Committee (JESC) and Joint Operational Steering Committee (JOSC) meetings.
 
Collaborate with other IQVIA team members, working with the prime sites, to overcome any site related barriers and challenges that affect the ability of the site to produce quality project deliverables in an effective, efficient and timely manner.
 
Share information and provide efficient communication with delivery teams, resolve site issues that have been escalated by the CRA or project teams.
 
Ensure Quintiles processes integrate with those of the site. Support adoption of IQIVA systems by sites, or with support, create and execute guidance and solutions for internal teams when this is not possible.
 
With support, identify and explore differentiating factors within the prime sites that can be developed to create new/innovative business opportunities for IQVIA.
Promote Prime Site internally and externally, maintaining its visibility and image, position in the market, and liaise with KOLs and site therapeutic teams to win work and support Prime Site expansion.
 
Mentor and support CRAs working within the Prime Site, share best practices and lessons learned regarding site relationship management.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
General knowledge of Clinical Development processes across all functional areas
Advanced knowledge and ability to apply GCP/ICH/applicable guidelines, feasibility, good understanding of new methodologies in research, site ID, CTMS, Infosario, e.g. remote monitoring, telemedicine
 
Ability to lead, collaborate and build effective relationships (including cross-functionally) with co-workers, managers, sites and customers.
 
Excellent/Proven management and communication skills (written and verbal), ability to present to senior management.
 
Strong project management and change management skills.
 
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
 
Effective time management skills and ability to manage competing priorities.
 
Sound judgement and decision making.
 
Ability to analyze performance data and draw relevant conclusions.
 
Fluent in local language and English, spoken and written.
 
Strong Strategic thinking
 
 
MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in a health care or other scientific discipline and 7 years of clinical trials, clinical operations or other related work experience.
 
3 years of leadership experience (Not necessary) a broad understanding of general management practices desirable (e.g. The Oz Principle, The 4 Disciplines of Execution); or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
 
3 years of experience as a Sr CRA 3 minimum
 
 
 
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
Extensive use of telephone and face-to-face communication requiring accurate perception of speech.
 
Extensive use of keyboard requiring repetitive motion of fingers.
 
Regular sitting for extended periods of time.
 
Significant travel and/or requirement to be on site.
