PURPOSE





The Senior Project Transformation Specialist is experienced in project delivery & will assist in the design, planning, management, and coordination of the IQVIA™ Translations Services Initiative. This individual will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to help identify, develop, implement, and monitor the effectiveness of IQVIA™ Translations Services, focused on increasing efficiency, improving the quality of services, and eliminating processes that are redundant or do not add value. This role will serve as an integral part of a multidisciplinary team that is leading the deployment of IQVIA™ Translations Services. The Senior Project Transformation Specialist will perform complex operational tasks including coordination and project management functions. This position is responsible for the development of project charters, project plans including timelines and milestones, pre-and post-success assessments, project and progress reports, as well as monitoring key pre-identified KPIs & identifying and resolving risks and issues and ensuring the timely completion of quality project deliverables. The Senior Project Transformation Specialist will communicate information to the Translation Management Services Lead, internal and external stakeholders, as well as others.



 



 



RESPONSIBILITIES



 

•         Document business process, policies, and procedures & conduct routine and ad hoc assessments, functional reviews, evaluations, and process mapping of operational processes and document operational efficiency, strengths, weaknesses, risks, and opportunities for improvement.

•         Develop, plan and coordinate implementation of business process improvement initiatives & establish measurement systems to monitor performance after implementation of changes.

•         Identify systemic issues that impede operational efficiency, and coordinate to accomplish improvements. Work with internal & external workstream leads to ensure close coordination during planning and implementation of transformation initiatives.

•         Compile and distribute project information status reports, analyses, presentations, and other assigned initiative overview updates

•         Communicate gaps in process design and implementation to upper management & provide input to the overall strategic objectives of improving processes and gaining efficiencies.

•         Provide subject matter expertise related to project management of continuous improvement initiatives and assist with staff briefings and trainings regarding implementation of improvement plans and process re-engineering

•         Develop and maintain effective working relationships and communication with staff and other internal and external stakeholders. Act as a liaison to other initiative staff concerning programs and initiatives to improve communication. Provide written and verbal communications to stakeholders about initiative, which affect clients or other key stakeholders.



REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES



 

•        Knowledge of clinical trial conduct, and skills in applying applicable clinical research regulatory requirements

•        Strong written and verbal communication skills including good command of English language

•        Results-oriented approach

•        Self-motivated & ready to make decisions & drive progression, seeking support from seniors where necessary

•        Strong problem-solving skills

•        Planning, time management and prioritization skills

•        Ability to handle conflicting priorities

•        Attention to detail and accuracy in work

•        Strong software and computer skills, including MS Office applications including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

•        Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers and clients.

•        Ability to work across cultures and geographies with a high awareness and understanding of cultural differences

•        Ability to influence without authority



MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

•          Bachelor's degree in life sciences, or other analytical field and 3 years of relevant clinical research experience with analytical/financial skills; or equivalent combination of education, training and experience



PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS



 

•          Extensive use of keyboard requiring repetitive motion of fingers.

•          Extensive use of telephone and face-to-face communication requiring accurate perception of speech.

•          Regular sitting for extended periods of time.
