Our new Analytics Center of Excellence (Analytics COE) harnesses our global healthcare insights, working closely with our clinical and therapeutic experts to power evidence-driven design, speed site activation and recruit the right patients, faster. This is a new unit within our business, integrated within Clinical Operations. We’re using big data and advanced analytics to derive insights that transform clinical development and bring new medicines to patients faster through successful trial delivery.

This multi-functional team is an innovation for our business, requiring entrepreneurial and independent thinking to build our capability. Unique and with a global view, this Center of Excellence is a chance to revolutionize the clinical research industry.

Senior Manager, Global Solutions – Real World Evidence (RWE) - the role

This role entails developing global analytics solutions that address core challenges for clinical trial design and execution. Once designed, this role involves managing these analytics projects as an integral part of the study team. You will lead cross-functional and geographic teams in the delivery of complex analytics to support sales, trial design and delivery, and new analytics innovations. To this end, the GSM is an integral member of the project team, providing the information necessary to support our client and business needs.

Your typical activities might include:

  • Managing global analytics team members to deliver insights that enhance trial strategy, design and execution.
  • Designing and defining the delivery of key analytics leveraging real-world anonymous patient data as well as provider and institutional data to support end-to-end engagements.
  • Working with clinical operations teams to define requirements to support trial operational strategy.
  • Generating real-time creative solutions to address critical client challenges.
  • Developing project plans for analytics delivery that integrate into the project operational strategy, inclusive of timelines, risks, and dependencies.
  • Offering mentoring and coaching in a quickly growing team that is key to delivering differentiating solutions for QuintilesIMS project teams.

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • A Bachelor's degree with extensive relevant experience in healthcare analytics, consulting and project management.
  • A thorough understanding of the healthcare industry.
  • Multi-country/cultural experience.
  • Relevant analytics experience, such as data driven profiling, segmentation, and targeting experience and real-world data analytics
  • Strong organizational, communication and project management skills.
  • Proven relationship-building skills, and an active listener.

You can drive your career at QuintilesIMS and choose the path that best defines your development and success. With exposure across diverse geographies, capabilities, and vast therapeutic and information and technology areas, you can seek opportunities to change and grow without boundaries.
