Position Purpose:
Develops/implements new patient engagement offers/enhancements including requirements, business case with investment plan,  pricing/revenue/profitability forecast estimates, build roadmap,  go-to-market strategy and ownership of high quality project and new offer delivery for a set products/enhancements across the IES and commercial services for life sciences customers. 
 
Principle Accountabilities:
  • Leads IQVIA strategic directions into offering mgmt decisions within and across business lines.  Leads the development of the portfolio of offerings within the patient engagement support area.
  • New Offering Development/Enhancements:  Plays lead or review role within the IQVIA offerings development process to define, develop new products/
    enhancements.  Identifies opportunities for products in areas of responsibility across region, business lines and/or services. Provides direction/completes necessary marketplace/client research that support business case and inform planning decisions.  Develops the business/financial case including revenue/profitability estimates.  Secures funding approval for new assets, acquisitions and/or partner channels to accelerate portfolio expansion and market potential. 
  • Offering Build: Develops/leads cross functional teams to ensure that the offerings meet customer needs, are economically and technically viable and are deliverable.  Develops costs and trade-offs, start vs. stop vs. enhance decisions/recommendations for products in development to deliver the maximum value from the offering portfolio within agreed development timescales and constraints.  Create and maintain multi-year product life cycle plans to drive increase visibility, value and utility of new and existing products. Ensures alignment between development decisions and actual product plan and customer targets/expectations. 
  • Delivery Model:  Secures commitment from local offices and client services for delivery of business case and implementation of service model and package.  Accountable for excellence in client delivery of current patient engagement projects and providing recommendations for organizational structure or process change to maximize service and delivery of new offering/enhancements. 
  • Go-to-Market Strategy:  Develops go-to-market plans recommendation for new offers including customer segmentation and pricing frameworks.  Manages product mix and engages both clients and internal teams to minimize risks associated with product transition and or cannibalization.  In collaboration with internal stakeholders, develops recommended plans and secures budget for marketing/thought leadership, collateral development and sales organization training. 
  • Thought leadership and SME support: Is recognized as the thought leader/
    product expert for IQVIA on the offering, both internally and externally.  Liaisons with client with or independent of sales, as necessary to support client prospecting and proposal development for new products.  Recognizes impact of developments in industry that may influence IQVIA products, services or trends.  Forecasts trends, identifies potential impacts and applies knowledge to offering development and business line strategy.


Job Requirements



Minimum Education, Experience, & Specialized Knowledge Required:

Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 8 years experience with demonstrated success in marketing strategy, new offering introductions and market expansion. Requires an in-depth knowledge of Pharmaceutical industry. Medical Devices industry knowledge preferred
