IQVIA™ is The Human Data Science Company™, focused on using data and science to help healthcare clients find better solutions for their patients. Formed through the merger of IMS Health and Quintiles, IQVIA offers a broad range of solutions that harness advances in healthcare information, technology, analytics and human ingenuity to drive healthcare forward.

We’re recruiting for a number of opportunities in our Data Management group, within our fast growing and highly successful Real World Analytics Solutions business unit here at IQVIA. We have opportunities at Senior DataTeam Lead level, which can be based across multiple locations across EMEA.

Within IQVIA, our Real-World Analytics Solutions (RWAS) business unit employs over 1,000 dedicated staff to design, implement and manage real-world and post-marketing studies. As healthcare stakeholders increasingly need evidence to support regulatory, reimbursement and prescribing decisions, the IQVIA RWES team offers a comprehensive evidence approach to meet our customer’s unique needs for demonstrating safety, effectiveness and quality.

Senior Data Team Leads independently manage the end-to-end delivery of data management services for single/multi-service projects, ensuring quality deliverables are completed on time and within budget, to customer satisfaction. They provide comprehensive data management expertise to the Clinical Data Management (CDM) team, and provide leadership and vision in the areas of project planning, execution, and close-out; financial management; communications; and milestone deliverables.

Additionally Service Management is also a key responsibility: SDTL’s will work with the Data Operations team members on a regular basis to ensure milestones meet timelines and quality deliverables, and provide training and development on data management expertise to junior team members.  They may serve as the escalation point for unresolved data issues; and independently work with client data managers, vendors, internal team members for resolution.  They will also be responsible for creating and/or reviewing and signing-off on all data management plan (DMP) documents.

SDTL’s will train and mentor junior SDTL staff in Data Management expertise, and may coordinate the work of more junior SDTL staff . They’ll be expected to review financial reports on a monthly basis and participate in project reviews as requested, as well as participating in pricing discussions across customer account  and supporting the RFP process.

There may also be opportunities for professional development through presenting at professional conferences and/or publishing articles in professional journals, and providing review and expert opinion in developing, revising, and maintaining core operating procedures and work instructions
