Job Title:                      Senior Data Integrity Analyst

Department:                 Information Technology Solutions

Location:                      Pentonville Road, London


  • To drive the strategic workflow activities on a daily basis, providing support and expertise in the production of IQVIA UK and Ireland data services 
  • Investigate challenges, analyse complex business problems and make recommendations to improve on data quality and procedures whilst applying best practices
  • Support and drive UK and Ireland based projects by implementing positive change to support business initiatives. Coordinating local office and offshore teams to deliver these projects in parallel with their daily commitments
  • To be the source of knowledge for what data is held where, how data is structured and how data is moved between systems
  • To constantly be looking for ways to improve data quality that lead to improved customer satisfaction
  • To think creatively to generate new solutions and make improvements to current processes that deliver value to our customers


  • Develop a specialisation into all relevant IQVIA UK and Ireland data sources
  • Demonstrated ability to write and optimise database queries in SQL to cleanse large data sets into manageable and meaningful outputs
  • Coordinate with various offshore groups in case of any issue with databases and arrive at quick resolution
  • Act as escalation point between offshore teams and internal commercial stakeholders
  • Execute complex pieces of data analysis to answer business questions
  • Support all Production functions where need arises to ensure on time delivery to clients
  • Support the Operations team by providing pertinent information to allow investigation of quality and production issues
  • Develop user story business requirements using Jira, creating test plans and executing UAT
  • Contribute to team effort through communication, cooperation and coordination across IQVIA


  • Strong data knowledge and analytical skills
  • Knowledge of SQL and database structures
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to interpret and present complex concepts
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to handle multiple activities with changing priorities simultaneously
  • Experience working on projects using agile type approaches preferred
  • Experience in new systems implementation and change management preferred
  • Customer-oriented personality with positive drive and a pragmatic, structured approach
  • Experience in at least one Data Visualisation Tool (MicroStrategy preferred)
  • Desired (but not essential) some awareness of big data and associated tools
  • Pharmaceutical industry knowledge desired but not essential
  • Graduate preferably with a mathematical, scientific, engineering or computer science based degree
